Inuart continued his futile attempts at tuning a random instrument once again; he could never seem to get any of these instruments just right in his opinion; sometimes he wondered now why he had opted to take this job.
While his students were excellent performers there were times when Inuart had a horrible time trying to sing or play any instrument! One moment he would be playing or singing fine and the next he was tongue tied or had two left hands.
He sighed as he finally planted the white flag of defeat in his mind and went to place the instrument back into its case for safe keeping... Class would be starting soon and he had to make sure that the room was at least a little tidy before they stampeded in. Gifted kids or not they were still messy teenagers.
He smiled fondly thinking of them; one of the teenagers at this academy was his own son... Nowe; he was the only child that Inuart and Furaie had ever managed to have much to Inuart's great disappointment.
The relationship between he and his wife seemed fine on the outside and Inuart loved to believe that everything was fine; but there was something brewing deep in her mind and Inuart just couldn't seem to see what it was... He hoped it didn't have anything to do with these foolish visions that everyone seemed to be having, but all signs were pointing in that direction.

Finding himself bored and having no immediate classes to attend to Caim found himself outside Inuart's classroom.
Why do I always find myself here? Well, whatever....
Reaching for the door knob he turned it and opened the door. He poked his head through the door to see Inuart putting some random instrument away.

Inuart turned wondering if it was a student who needed extra help with homework or something and chuckled upon spotting Caim; the man who was responsible for most of the homework that he helped with. "Good morning Caim, what brings you here?" Inuart asked as he locked the instrument case and made his way back over to his desk.

Caim shrugged and walked in, pulling out his pad of sticky notes that he carried with him when he couldn't talk. The only ones he had managed to find here pink ones and he was too lazy to go into town to buy more or ask someone else for some.
'Classes don't start to later' he wrote.

"Oh I see, you couldn't find Furaie?" He asked wondering what had brought him here instead of to Fuarie.. His wife seemed to enjoy spending more time with Caim lately than usual and he was content to have her happy even if it didn't feel right to him.

Caim nodded, he had tried his sister's office and room but hadn't found her. He was slightly worried about her but also knew she was old enough to take care of herself.
'I looked for her but she wasn't in Any luck with the instruments today?'
He knew of Inuart's difficulty sometimes with singing and playing and thought it rather funny in a twisted sort of way.

"... No..." Inuart sighed not wanting to reveal this information to Caim, sometimes in his worse moods he would tease Inuart like when they were children.

Caim smiled maliciously at the information.
'Better hope your not asked to play today You might make ears bleed'
He ripped off the top note and continued on a new one
'On second thought do, I'll come and watch'

"Hah, hah Caim, that was so funny I almost forgot to laugh." Hr muttered grumpily before a malicious grin of his own crept across his face.
"I think Caim just harasses me because he's lonely." Inuart crooned (thankfully in tune) as he wrapped his arms around Caim's shoulders and hugged him holding back the pearls of laughter that threatened to spill at any moment...
This was another thing from childhood, but till this day it freaked Caim out when Inuart played the affectionate card.

The reaction was immediate. Flaying his arms Caim jumped backwards..... Err, tried to jump backwards. Inuart still had his arm around his shoulder.
When Caim jumped he lost his balance and felt himself falling. He reached out trying to grab something to help regain his balance, but his hands found only air.
Then everything went black as his skull hit the floor.

Inuart went down with Caim and crashed into the floor with him; he however didn't go out cold the way Caim had and was now frantically trying to wake him up. "Caim!" He groaned knowing he'd have to go get the nurse if Caim didn't get up soon. " ... He's going to cause trouble for this one..." Inuart sighed standing to go call the nurse.

Covered in blood and feeling his life slip away, Caim saw himself before a red dragon. Suddenly he felt himself reach deep into himself and pull something out of his chest, which he suddenly realized was covered by armor stained in blood. The dragon had pulled something out of herself too and they pushed them together. He felt life flood back through him as well as the power coming from the beast. He was going to find Furaie and-!
Everything was black again. Black and warm.
Ugh did I just get hit with a train?

While Caim had been out cold Hanch had rushed down to the room and was checking him over while a worried Inuart and Furaie (temp. controlling her) stood by watching. "He's waking now, it seems to be just another case of the visions." She sighed standing up and allowing Caim his space.
"Caim I'm sorry, I didn't mean to startle you so." Inuart apologized as Furaie rushed forward to ask Caim if he was alright.

Caim sat up slowly, only just making out what Inuart and his sister said. He also debated on whether to give him the bird or now. He waved him off instead, deciding he would get him later. Off school hours of course.
Then his vision came back to him and he looked up suddenly and glanced wildly around. Somewhere deep inside he felt an unknown source of hatred he wasn't aware of before and his forehead slowly turned into a frown as he scowled trying to remember where it came from.

Hanch sighed and jotted down a few notes before turning towards the doors. "He might need to rest, he seems shocked still." She shrugged waiting to see if Caim seemed 'normal' again.
"I have to teach brother, take care of yourself and rest if you need it." Furaie cooed as she stood and held out a hand to help Caim up as Inuart came to lend a hand as well. "No fooling around you two, you're not children anymore." She wasn't really scolding them but at the same time she was as she scurried out of the room trying to hurry to her classroom.
